No notifications virtuemart orders arrive

I have installed the virtuemart in joomla 2.5 but when people buy, not get any notification of the purchase ... Buying is seen in virtuemart administrator but does not email me any support

Is this on a real live server? Does any mail get received from Joomla? What about ask a question mail?

It is a real server. the messages joomla arrive  but virtuemart  not

OK. Check the settings in Config/Checkout for each "Default Order Status to..."   If on a cheap shared host youmay need also the change the setting "Use the vendor email address" in Config/Shop
