dark theme edits

Hello

I have the latest versions of Joomla 2.5 and Virtuemart.  My Joomla theme is dark, black in fact.  I have found most of the css edits in vmsite-ltr.css, but there are a few that are eluding me.

I found the facebox.css file, how do I add a background color, at the moment I have very pale grey text on a white background?

The Sort By box
Where, how do I add a background color, at the moment I have very pale grey text on a white background?

I tried using Firebug, but cannot figure these two out.

Any help appreciated.

for add to cart popup, what version are you using?

the newest has a template called

padded.php


& you should be able to see the classes with firebug.
