Checkout now button does not lead to confirm your order.

For some reason when we test the website with different computers some of the computers cannot make it to the "cnfirm you order page" because the "heckout now"button just keeps refreshing the page.

the code on the checkout now button is Javascript:document.checkoutForm.submit();

Can anyone please give us some advice on this ?
