State/Province drop list problem.

Hi,

Im using Joomla 2.5.9 and VM2.0.20b.
Site is www.archaeoadventure.com

I try to search on this forum and googled for solve the problem, but I couldnt solve it.

When I'm check out process, I choise the country, but the state/province is going empty.....

I find some people that have same problem, says it's a jquerys problems...
And says that editing vmsite.js:

The ajax for auto populating the State after selecting a Country fails.  I fixed it by updating /components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/vmsite.js and changing this line

to this

I try this but doesnt work.....

How can I fix the problem?

Can't see a proper registration page on that site, but a conflict with Nivoslider or the moo-type menu script is a strong possibility. Remove the slider from the registration page to check for that one.

Thank you for your reply.

I disable the slider in VM, and turn off many plugins but doesnt work.

Finnally I decided to build other joomla site with vm, so there is no more plugins and works good.

Same problem. How do I disable the "slider" in VM.

Can not get drop-down for state to work or the  (Add to Cart)
"Continue to Shopping" and "Show Cart" option to work.

Went to Default  Beez2 template and everything started to work.
I was using JoomlaShack template with some of their new "features' which seem to
break VM. Can you recommend some reliable and will designed VirtueMart Templates
that work on VM2 AND Joomla 2.5 and higher?

I just went to "Top 10 VirtueMart Sites at:

and tried several of the templates.

I'm having the same problem with  these "Virtuemart approved" sites.
I don't mind buying a template or subscription, but I want to be assured the
template will work as advertised with current version of Joomla 2.5  and VM2
