Special format for sales price if there is a discount

Hi folks,

we're currently setting up a new shop using VM 2.0.20b and Joomla 2.5.9.

The shop displays the sales price and the discount, if there is any. What we would like to have is a special format for the sales price (line-through, e.g.) if there exists a discount for that product. Is there any chance to achieve this without touching the VM source?

show the baseprice only if a discount is given and use css to style the baseprice with line-trough
