Shipping based on SKU

Is there any way to create a shipment based on SKU or maybe product category? All I can see is the shipping based on weight and country..Any plugins would be ok..

Unfortunately, my plugins are not able to calculate shipping based on the SKUs of the products in the cart (I provide some more cart/order properties, but none of them are product-specific). There was a plugin for VM 1, but I'm not aware of such a plugin for VM2.
