Add products to your cart through links

Hi I wondered if you can add a product to your cart with virtuemart 2 through links from article using joomla 1.5.

Do not use Joomla 1.5 with VirtueMart 2 - Joomla 1.5 is no longer supported for VirtueMart -   http://virtuemart.net/news/list-all-news/426-end-of-life-for-virtuemart-11-heidelpay-now-in-virtuemart-2012
