IIRC the regex was altered to allow this within  VM2.0.14

I wonder if it will be possible to search the hyphen "-" in the new version of virtuemart 2.xx

I version 2.0.14 yes, in version 2.0.16 that will be released in some days the search has been enhanced, you could test it with a test version 2.0.15b.
