Search manufacturer dropdown problem

Hello

I have Joomla 2.5.8 and Virtuemart 2.0.14, and the problem is that if you search for a product the manufacturer dropdown does not repopulate with only the manufacturers of the searched products.

Example:

I search for "animal"

all the products containing the word "animal" are displaying (the list has products that are assigned to only 2 manufactures)

if I go to the "select manufacturer" dropdown i can see ALL the manufacturers and not only the 2 that have products in the list.


How can that be fixed?
