Product duplicated in cart

I have a product with variable choices(stockable), Colors and Sizes.

Here's the problem, everytime i add the product with same color and size to the cart, it will duplicate instead combining both together. Refer to the attached image below, both items are same SKU, same size but they will not combine together.

Did you try without template overrides? As it seems you are using a custom vm template

I've tried this on a fresh new installed JL / VM and still having the same problem

Looks to me like an override issue, too. Try using a different Joomla template, such as Beez5

or maybe a 3rd party extension.
