I am using Joomla 2.5, VM2.0.12f. I have logged in as the Suoeruser set up when I installed first installed Joomla.

I am trying to enable the multivendor facility and I cannot enable another user as a Vendor. When I click the "Is a Vendor" button I get  a message that the status has changed, but the Vendor? filed doesn't change. As a result when I logout and log back in as the new user I don't see the vendor tab to allow me to set up the new user. Can you help me? I'm sure it is something very simple, so please accept my apologies.

Regards,

Iain Young

Do you resolve it? I'm configuring now my site (in local) with multivendor option and I don't know how configure it.
Thank you

I´m trying to add a new vendor but same thing... anyone has an idea how can we do it?

The new vendor should first be registered as an admin in Joomla and as a shopper, ie has their Joomla login info as well as billing address in VM. Then enable multi-vendor in VM Configuration/Shop and then on the VM Shoppers list add he/she as vendor.

Good moorning, now with your explanation an Admin User can edit products in Front End clicking in maintenance button, but the problem is that they can edit all the products, not only their products. This is a problem when have more than one vendor of different shop. My site is multishopping and then multivendor, and this is a problem for me. Do you know if have any solution now?

Thank you very much !!!!

I have now Joomla 2.5.17 and VM 2.0.26d
