Problem with template layout on category and Cart layout

Goodafternoon,

I am struggeling to get virtuemart working on a existing Joomla system ( joomla 1.5.26) with the latest version of Joomla.

What happens is that on the Cart view and the category view there is a Huge space between the top and Bottom  so the category and Cart are not visible only when you scroll to the bottom af the page.

When i use Firebug i can change this bij deleting a css statement in the vmsite-ltr.css file. the statement that i have to change is : .clear, br.clear {
    clear: both;
}

Problem that i then have is that the layout gets worse. The gap is gone but the layout gets worse.

I have the RT-replicant V2 theme installed.

Anybody any  ideas ?

We are not able to help much with commercial themes but the should be able to advise over at RocketTheme. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=108212.0

If you posted a url then someone may have been able to offer some advice, but almost certainly the problem is the commercial template overrides. Also consider migrating to Joomla 2.5 as J1.5 is no longer supported.
