amazon?

I'm looking for an affiliate/shopping cart system that works well with joomla 2.5x and think I'm going with wizaffiliates and virtue mart. My boss wants to use amazon as the checkout system - I know nothing about amazon, can this be done with virtuemart? I've set up ecommerce before where all I need to do is add my  API login key and transaction key. Is it as simple as that with Virtuemart?

I'm afraid not. I'm unsure if one exists, but you'll need to have an Amazon payment plugin.

there is for VM1 http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e-commerce/payment-gateway/17399 if that helps?
