Hello, and congratulations for this excellent Joomla extension. I must mention that I am new to virtuemart, and I would really want to ask a question about my rights with this software.
As mentiond here http://virtuemart.net/faq

I am developing an extension for virtuemart, and I am also thinking to wrap up the code of virtuemart + my extension + the template that I am making in one zip file, and upload them in a web site for paid downloads. Of course I will not claim this software as mine but promote the joomla team and the virtuemart team for the code that I used. I will not change or modify the code of virtuemart, so It will not cause any malfunction when it comes to get upgraded by the virtuemart team.
What am I willing to get paid for?
Users will pay me for my work for the template that I made, and the extension of virtuemart.
Do I have this right to do something like this?

Yes, you are allowed to sell packages of this kind. The rule is that the virtuemart package stays as recognisable as packagae.

What it actually means is that you are not allowed to take the code of vm and to sell your whole package as closed source. So you are allowed to use ioncube for your extension, but NOT for the whole package.
