Text in Product description gets cut off.

Hi there.

I have problem in my virtuemart backend. some of my product description text gets cut off. I use a plugin to create tabs within the product description which works with a short code. now on some of my product descriptions my text that i add gets cut off at some random point. this happens to maybe one out of 5 products i've added. so some of them are working perfectly and some are not. for instance one that works has about 1800 characters, where others get cut at about 1300 of 1600 characters. Has anyone encountered a problem like this? i really need some help.
