Shipping schemes?

Can you select shipping schemes for certain products? Some of my items are free shipping. Others have a flat fee.

Does Virtuemart support shipping schemes or provide some way to do this?

VirtueMart 2 supports that. Use weight. eg set a weight 1lb for products with flat fee and set up shipping plugin for that. Then set up a plugin (you can add as many plugins as you like) for no weight, no charge.

From your sig you are using a very old Joomla/VM version, though. In which case you have posted in the wrong section.

Wow, that sig was from when I ran my old store. I thought of getting back into e-commerce with VM2.

Thanks for the help. I'm sorry to see that digital delivery is no longer freely available. I only used it to send free pdf manuals of the stuff they bought.
