Any particular reason for updating to g instead of h?

CE WebDesign München

VM 2.0.7.h + J! 2.5.6 + WIN XP + PHP 5.3.1 + XAMPP 1.7.3

Products not showing with all of these settings:
- Products only in 3.level categories (adding one Product to 1.level -> 3.level Products show)
- Products shopergroup is "default" (set to "anonymous" or "none"  -> 3.level Products show)
- local install (transver to server -> 3.level Products show / back again: no 3.level Products)

SEO+SEF settings VM+J: no effect

solved (vm2.0.7.j)
now no need for product in 1.level!
thanks, great! :)

some ideas (just ideas - might not make sence for most or at all!):

create "storemanager"
(so someone like secretary can edit products without updating VM without backup and without being joomla-admin?)

change name of shoppergroup: -default- to -registerd-
(since out there in the online shopper world (amazon...) most products are visible without being logged in: default=anonymous?)

fill child fields with half transparent "parent-settings" instead of nothing or 0
(cause if admin overrides something and than deletes it,
next day storeadmin thinks it IS "parent-settings" but actually it is realy empty?)

on describtion + custom fields tabs:
button: prefill with parent-data as override
(most childs only need little changes?)

when replacing image add "-..."
("image-7.jpg" nicer for image-search-engines than "image7.jpg" ?)

Is planned, but only for j2.5 then.

hmm you mean "default" and "registered" is better than the pair "anonymous" and "default"? I understand your point. I think that could be an intersting poll.

Idea is known and we agree, but point is, who is doing it :-) It is a nice to have.

One of the big thing left, the overrides are for all customs. that is a bit shitty. But next mayor version we will solve that.

Sounds intersting, but maybe better to use underscore.
