Product thumbnails width and height set to 85 * 148 but shows images 85*85

I'm  having lots of problem in thumbnails dimensions! i have set thumbnail width and height to 85*148 in virtuemart backend  but on category page its showing dimension of 85*85  why height of product is not resized to 148?

i'm using virtumart 2.0 and joomla 2.5.1 !

if any one help mee to solve this then he will be hero member for me

remove the product images and add them again. if you where adding images to product when the value of thumb was 85*85, the thumb's where allready created and can't be change to your new value automaticaly.

thats for sure! i have changed the width and height of thumbnail  first and then uploaded images from backend ! u can see from firebug also that images are saved with 85_148 extension in the folder of product!

so i think there is another issue must be in the uploading script!

The problem it's quite simple.

Virtuemart can't do a square in a rectangle, he fit you're size after the width or height and make the resize of your thumb so you have to edit you're images first

can u please explain briefly ! beoz i dont understand what you  are saying! is ther any problem with css ! and page u r looking " http://www.elifeshopping.com/index.php/jewellery" actually this images are uploaded at the same time when image of"http://www.elifeshopping.com/index.php/component/virtuemart/shoes/men-s-shoes"  uploaded ! but for shoes it is taking 85*85! and for cell phone it is taking right dimension as 85 *148!

product thumbnails issue for mobiles is solved

but for shoes it is still problem

i think original  image size upload for both mobile and shoes is different for shoes we are uploading larger images so that dimension is reduced to 85*85! I think now ther is only one solution to  it that we have to upload shoes images of mobile size!
