Virtuemart Category Layout Menu Items not showing

I'm running VM 2.06 and Esport 2.82 and I'm having the issue where in the main menu, the categories are not showing that any products are assigned to them. Check http://www.flycultr.com and under the shop apparel button, I have t-shirts and tanks. Both have items assigned to them in the store, but won't show. Any help would be appreciated.

I figured it out by changing my shopper group to anonymous for all my products.  Is this the only solution?

The anonymous group is the group used by anyone not logged in and who has been assigned to a different shopper group. So the site visitor (automatically anonymous) can see the products. Most sites do not require shopper groups so the selector for the products etc can be left as "Select some options".
