Do not show child product on front page

I am wondering if there is a way to show the parent product with child products on the front page without showing the child product on the front page.  I am trying to list the partent product without a price but have it open up and show the child products under it.

Parent product = 0.00
Child 1 = $$
Child 2 $$

I have attached an image that i am trying to accomplish.
