How to center product images in categories view

Hello to all.
Im developing e new e-shop and i have the problem that the title says.
In the virtuemart demo the product images are centered in each product view but they are not when i install it.
Is something that i have to do in the configuration?
Do i have to hack something?
Please help

Hello again, yes you are right, i'm sorry.

My virtuemart version is 3.0.12
The joomla version is 3.4.6
php version is 5.5.27
I don't use VirtueMart styling template but helix 3 framework.
As i previously show the protostar theme is not cousing this problem but i cannot find what is wrong
I also use SEF

I did actually used firebug but i could not find the solution

The problem is the width od the sp-component div and the empty sp-right div.

There are template/bootstrap issues, nothing to do with VirtueMart. There are css issues, too which will need sorting out.

I really see no point in using such a framework.
