Hello,
I'm trying to find out if we will be able to use : GSM SMS &GPRS Printer to receive orders using VirtueMart in restaurant.

My comany makes websites for takeaways. We use a Star TSP100 printer so the paper we work with is small. I've had to do a lot of editing on the e-mail files. The path for the files is below...

httpdocs - components - com_virtuemart - views - invoice - tmpl

Please note I use Joomla 2.5 and VM 3 so the filepath might be different for you if you use a newer version.

Also we use a macro to resize the paper, but thats company property so you'll have to make your own macro if you want to do that.

Hi Thank you for your help.
how does that work, is there is any API or do you use SMS?
The company I contacted says they will provide me API called Iconnect so when I get an order in my shop online the order will go to their website and it will be sent to the printer machine.

Please can you let me know how does that works in yours?

That sounds a bit odd. Our setup was made before my time here. It runs a rule in Outlook to run a script, does some code to put it into Word, then a macro in Word resizes the paper and then it prints it.
