This fault does not allow a new or existing record to be saved. Effects shipment and payment in Shop. Even ones created before cannot be saved after an edit.

Problem was finally traced to VM3 not liking the default beez3 template for administration. Change the administrator template to ISIS and the buttons work again.

To do this choose extensions>templates  look down list where administrator is shown against template and select. Then in form make default. Use another template as the site or as required.

Possible bug or bad template ?

Here's a previous thread. had same issue, seems ISIS is the template to use as administrator at present.

Confused .. Beez3 is a frontend template .. the only other bundled admin template is the supremely ugly hathor.. does anyone use that by choice?

But can confirm .. with Hathor saving doesn't work .. JS Error  Uncaught ReferenceError: Joomla is not defined

Plus various layout problems -- so yes - use Isis

Hahaha, that is funny, although there is a purpose to Hathor Existing.

It is a WCAG level 2 compliant template, meaning that it's great for people who have various kinds of disabilities, both visual disabilities and motor disabilities. The entire template can be navigated by just the keyboard.
