Hi

Is it possible to chance the negative sign in front of an the "amount saved" somewhere in the default template.

(the negative sign in front of the amount saved in VM was added in version 2.x.x an sadly without a option to turn it off since it's not normally everywhere to put it that way)

Please be specific where in the template it's possible - in advance thanks.

Sorry for not bring the needed information...

My site use:
Virtuemart 2.6.6
Joomla 2.5.14
PHP 5.5.17

See a example http://scservice.dk/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=2330&virtuemart_category_id=15&Itemid=481 the site use the default template!

The normal way to show amount saved here is without the negative symbol in front of the amount.

I think it was changed around version 2.0.2x to show a negative symbol instead of no symbol.

So I have not used this option in my site for a long time now but would love get it right and useful for the future.

First those VM/Joomla versions are insecure. You should be using at least VM2.6.10    (current latest in VM2 series is 2.6.17)  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0
Cheeck updates on a backup copy of your site as you are using a Artisteer template which could cause problems.

To remove the negative sign go to the configuration page for your currency and for Negative Format remove {sign}  (default is {sign}{number} {symbol} )
