Enable coupons for guests?

hi, how do I enable VM coupons for guest shoppers too? I believe, by default, they only work for registered / logged-in users.

I would use: AWO Coupon PRO: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/virtuemart-extensions/virtuemart-coupons/11629

So worth the pennies.

In their create a persistant coupon that can be used X amount of times per user and then place the code on your checkout / site / tell people about it.

Alternatively, you could just give people a coupon code, I'm pretty sure that would work - never tested it TBH

well I am aware of this component. But it is really quite costly for me atleast as of now...I just want

1. Either the Guests should be able to apply the coupons.
2. Or there should be a msg  shown to the guest shopper that "Please login/register to apply your coupon"

Any thoughts on this ?

Hi Rage
Create a cutom html module and add a message along the lines of:

Register today
For a 5% discount code
Save your time when you re-order
View and print past invoices

Then add this to the site as any other module
