I want to remove or disable the Display Name option in VM3

Dear,

I have trouble with Display name option in VirtueMart 3 and One Page Checkout option.
The input work only with Latin alphabets, but my shop is for Bulgarian market. I need solution to disable this option and leave only username and password options.
Please help me, I`m using Joomla 3 + VirtueMart 3

oha, this is interesting. So on joomla 3, you cannot use cyrillic?

afaik this field is needed for the Joomla registration
what I do if the client doesn't want it is make it hidden and fill it by JS with the username

I solved this editing the DB directly...put 0 on the raw of the Diplay Name record...
