Hi,

I have VirtueMart 3.0.8 running with Hera_j3_vm3 (the template from VirtueMart) and everything is installed.
Everything looks fine, but the system is not sending email to Administrator or Customer when Customer make a purchase.
When a new shopper is registered, the Administrator and the Customer receive an email, also when a Customer make a question about a product, the Administrator receive an email.    So, the only problem is when CheckOut, I receive not email.

I have this set :
in VIRTUEMART -> CONFIGURATION -> CHECKOUT
*- Default Order Status to create an invoice --> Cofirmed
*- Default Order Status to send email to shopper --> Confirmed by shopper.  Confirmed.  Cancelled.  Refunded.
*- Default Order Status to send email to vendor --> Confirmed by shopper.  Confirmed.  Cancelled.  Refunded.

in VIRTUEMART -> SHOP -> SHOP --> SEND REGISTRATION
*- Email :  my_email@my_shop.com

in JOOMLA -> GLOBAL CONFIGURATION ->SERVER
*- Send Mail  : Yes
*- Mailer     : PHP Mail   (Note : I also tested with Sendmail and nothing happen)
*- From email : my_email@my_shop.com
*- Disable Mass Mail : NO

Current VM version is 3.0.10 - there have been a lot of updates & fixes since 3.0.8

Which payment method, and what is the order status returned by a successful payment?  Are emails sent when you manually change the order status?

Hi, thank you for your response...

Note : I had another website working fine, but with Joomla 2.5 and VirtueMart 2.6.12.2 and all the settings looks the same.
*- The payment method is Paypal
*- When I manually change the order status, there is not email coming to customer or administrator

*- I also updated VirtueMart to V 3.0.10, but there is a little problem, maybe that's the real problem.-  When I was trying to enter to COMPONENTS -> VirtueMart-aio  or COMPONENTS -> tcpdf,  always it gives me this message :  An error has occurred.  404 Component not found.

Now I installed the VirtueMart-aio 3.0.10   and the tcpdf_1.0.0  but the message is still there : An error has occurred.  404 Component not found.

With the update to 3.0.10 there is no 404 issue, this has been asked about and replied to so many times over the last year!

In any case VM2.6.12 is nearly a year old now - and there have been a lot of upates since then, so maybe you issue was already fixed.

Hi Kelvyn,

your answer is defenitely wrong. Actually I got this error in a new virtuemart installation with Vers. 3.0.10. I spend a lot of time to fix it or better to know, how to prevent the error.

I get this error only, when the system sends a message with a pdf-invoice. This appears only in my test system with access control. It seems, that the com_tcpdf-component wants to load an image and this fails at the access control of the system.

It would be a good idea to fix this bug.

Best regard
