Discount as per the total order amount

Is it possible to give some percentage or total discount on total order amount of cart in virtuemart 2.0.18(a) and Joomla 2.5.9 and php version 5.3.14..

Thank you for your reply jenkin hill  but i want if the total order amount in between $100 - $150 then the discount is $5 to all the shopper groups there is no option to set the order amount

If you want to do that with price brackets then you will need to write a plugin or commission one, as that option is not available in native VirtueMart.
