Show base price as crossed

If you goto any site http://www.ilovejmc.com/

you can see price is like

1500 there is cross/or line there
Disocunted price 1000

and that 1000 is not crossed or lined

My question is how we can show the 1500 price as corssed,

Sorry, no i cannot solve it. see my attacheme for setting

I did not define any rule in taxes and discount as discount rates are not based in percentage.

Now the issue is if i wirthe 899 in final price, as soon as i solve it, the price autmatically change to 1500 again. I try to cahnge the rules dorpdown but  no matter what ever i do price again came back to 1500

If i apply no rules on all , and change cost to 100 and finalize price to 500, the cost auto change to 500

so i am now going made how it work and where it cahnges

Hello, I have solved the same issue in near past. You have to hold some important rules, if you would like to show the crossed price:

1) You have define one tax rule (type VAT TAX per product) - if you don't use VAT TAX, you have to use VAT TAX 0%. It is imporatnt, because crossed price is base price with tax and this price is not shown, if is it there no VAT TAX rule).

2) If you want the setup the different final price, you can fill Cost price and setup other discount rules and the Final price will be calculated from the Cost price ( discount for some Manufacturer's products, discount for a specific product groups or user groups etc.).

3) If you fill the Final price at first and switch-on the checkbox Calculate the Cost price, the Cost price will be calculated from Finall price using all allowed rules for this product.

4) The other way how to change Finall price is fill the edit Overwrite manually and swith the radio button to Overwrite finall. The Cost price will be overwrited by value from edit Overwrite.

The 2nd way for price changig is better if you would like to change price for one, two or very small group of products. If you would like to change price for more product, it is better use the 1st way - rule.

be careful when u use this as it overwrites EVERYTHING .. so quantity discounts, general cat discounts etc etc will not be applied!
