Readme for VM2 installation package

...I've combed through every file in the VM2 install package com_virtuemart.2.0.2_extract_first.zip and can find nothing that appears to be a readme or installation instructions file.

Am I just mis-reading the filenames, or does it really not exist? How do people know how to install VM2 other than asking questions individually? I have found plenty on VM1.1.

Thanks a million! I had spent hours trying to apply the instructions from the previous version and of course they still didn't work. I would not have thought of googling for "Installation of virtuemart2 with provided packages." I appreciate your help.
