No Shop Currency defined!

When I try and add a product I get the message "No Shop Currency defined!".
I have selected USD under configuration / currency selection but that doesn't seem to work or make a difference.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

No idea, but I'm having the same problem.

Well, until I upgraded to vm 2.0.6 - now I can't even see that information or tab anymore.

Any ideas?
