Can't complete checkout process (stuck)

After adding a product to the shopping cart, and I press "Show shoppingcart" I go to a page containing errors (see this topic: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99147.0).

When I manually navigate to the shopping cart and attempt to continue to checkout, I get stuck at the page for editing personal information. It never continues the checkout process after saving.

I have turned off SEF urls and url rewriting, now after hitting "show shoppingcart" I correctly go to the first page of the checkout process. However it keeps sending me to "Your account details", when I hit checkout, when I change the payment method and save  and   when I change the delivery method and save.

When you hit the checkout,

it checks if your address is entered, if not it sends you to the "your account details", yes. I do not understand your description. Atm what you described to me is this:

You go to the cart. You press checkout, You enter your address, you press save, you get the next page, it is showing shipment, you enter the shipment you get sent back to the "your account details", then you press save again, then you see the payment, you enter the payment, you press save again and sent back again to "your account details" ? I dont think that you mean this, but I dont understand how else you mean it.

"However it keeps sending me to "Your account details", when I hit checkout" makes sense and is right that way.

"when I hit checkout, when I change the payment method and save" this makes not really sense. Do you mean, when you click on the link "select payment" or do you mean that you stored your address and then sent to the change payment?


The cart has really a lot different options. Your description is too confuse for me, sorry.

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. The way you explained it made me remember something (I feel really stupid now  :-[), I had not filled in the address completely. I can now almost fully complete the checkout process. We encounter an error, though, right before we are sent to the payment provider. I'm checking this with our payment-plugin provider first to see if they are the 'cause'. I think it deserves a new topic when we raise it to a VirtueMart-problem.

Thanks for your help. There was some confusion because of the other issue we're having: VirtueMart gives php errors when SEF is turned on, we're fixing it (something that might have something to do with it) in another topic.

When you have a problem you should test first without sef.
