Virtuemart Products Layout for frontend???

Hi

I'm using Joomla 1.7 and Virtuemart 2.0.

I want a frontpage that shows products only - is there a way to do this?  I know you can assign a Menu Item to a "Virtuemart Product Details layout" ... but that only displays ONE product and it details - I want to display several products without the details ...

Easiest way is to use a module, VM - Featured products  (mod_virtuemart_product)  set to, for example random products. You can set the number in a row, number of rows, show or hide price & add to cart. Publish it in a suitable position in your Joomla template or use {loadposition} in a front page article.

You may also try assigning "Virtuemart Category Layout" as your Menu Item Type for front page. Select certain category to see this category products, or "Top Level Category" to show all products.
