product thumbnails help vm v2

Hello, I am new to VM and found it somewhat e-z to use. the problem i am having is the following. i added categories no problem... sub categories  no problem.. added products no problems until i go to view the store then the products thumbnails are tiny like 20x20 i changed the settings in config for the thumbnail and still nothing i deleted out the pics and reinstalled and nothing also  i cant find a way to get rid of the in stock low stock gage it is over flowing into the description. any help be great i would even give the user name and password if someone can help me so i know what i am doing wrong. i looked at the css files all the options and i cant get this.. thank you.
