Images added automatically unpublished

Why in the name of all that is holy does virtuemart unpublish media once you add it to a product.....or atleast allow us to turn the feature off.
What if I wanted to use the same image for 4 products....

I do not know, it happens with mine too.

Its not hard to publish them though

Maybe we should feature request this BQ Pro....I agree you can go back and republish and I guess unpublishing helps with image filtering....but still.
Maybe a toggle when you add an image...to remove the unpublish event...that is on by default.
