[feature request] custom shopper fields

Would be geat if the shopper fields could be fully customizable.
In some environments, the whole ser of contact info fields does not make much sense.
The only workaround to at least label those fields to our liking is by using language overrides.
Not too elegant, though.

Sure. I can add new fields to Products, but not to Shoppers.
In our particular use case, the workflow is fully internal, meaning that fields like City, Zip, Adress, Country and so on are not applicable (an there's no way to unpublish them). On the other hand, fields like Department and Position would make more sense.

So you dont ship products?

Nope. In this particular project we only use VM's inventory management and product transaction capabilities (btween units and departments of an organisation), which work quite well.
That's why all the shipping fields are nit needed.
However, we do need the checkout step so that the stock changes. Using VM simply as a catalog would not suffice our needs.
