Shipment plgin related problem

Hallo,
just updated virtuemart from RC3 (17.12.2011) to final (19.12.2011) and aio plugins as well.

Shipping method list is empty (but there is still the 'old' shipment method into the database). Why the updated plugin is missing the shipment method(s) previously inserted? Have we re-enter all shipment parameters on every upgrade?
