"Please enter a valid quantity for this item"

Hello,
I can add products to the cart from category view or product view, but then if I try to change the quantity of the product from the cart page (using the icon "vmicon vm2-add_quantity_cart") I receive the message: "Please enter a valid quantity for this item" and "Product quantity not successfully updated" below.
My site is in spanish.
Could you tell me how to fix it?

Thank you and sorry again, but I'm not sure which version is the 5114
I forgot to mention that I updated the 1.9.8.RC2M version (which worked fine) with 2.0.0_RC3 version, dated 12/16/2011, following the instructions to upgrade.
The problem came after that.
