Need a voucher component for VirtueMart

Hi ,

I need a voucher component for VirtueMart as follow:

1- Import different amounts of voucher ( e.g. 10$,20$,50$ ...) already created by 3rd party application
2- After status of order is changed to  "Complete" , client receive the proper voucher ( amount and quantity of order) by email and a copy would be saved in client's order history.

you can use the coupn system as a voucher/gift token system. Select coupon type gift for a single use code.

There are some coupon plugins available commercially that will auto send a voucher on confirmed order, but I cannot "vouch" (lol!) for there suitability.

However VM base coupon functionality is not good for fixed value gift vouchers. Percentage vouchers are fine!

Gift vouchers are for use against the total value of the purchase, including shipping costs.

VM applies the coupon value to the basket total BEFORE shipping costs are calculated. If the basket total was less than the voucher total then this is BAD! as VM sets the "session coupon value" to the (lower) basket price.  It then moves to the shipping costs. 

Your voucher may have been enough to cover some of the shipping costs, but as it has been reduced to the basket amount then you do not get the full amount of the Gift voucher price and still have to pay for shipping.
