VM Customization - Freight Calculator + Case Qty

Hello development community,

We are working on improving an existing virtuemart storefront (joomla 1.5 and VM 1.1.14) and are looking for assistance with a few final touches.  We have requests for modicications to the shopping cart to help it mesh with our particular product in a way that our customers understand better.  We are seeking a programmer who is willing to complete our project and be open to working together to make additional refinements as they may be needed down the road.

Project #1:

Development of a tie-in for our freight calculator that will allow proper freight charges to be calculated and included in billable charges at checkout.  We have the API info from out freight broker and can produce sample code for other shopping carts if needed.

We would like to use some of the same code to allow shoppers to get a freight quote before checking out, if this is possible.

Project #2:

Our product is sold in case quantity only, but the number of units per case varies from product to product.  We wish to have the shopping cart automatically round up to the next case quantity for all orders. 

We have custom fields with this information already added to the database, but would like to find a clean and understandable way to present this information to our customers as well as integrate it into the shopping cart.

Ideally these would be completed by the same person or company, but we are willing to split the project if necessary.
