Paypal VAT / Tax Problem

PayPal VAT / Tax

The problem is when you are on the front end of the site. The order total shows the PayPal Fee including the VAT / TAX. Which is correct I don't have a problem with that. If someone knows the $db->f("PAYMENT TAX ID HERE???") maybe that would help me out.

The problem comes when you are sent to PayPal to pay for your order. The total amount that PayPal is requesting off you is incorrect. I've worked out where it's going wrong but can't seem to fix it. The PayPal Fee no longer has VAT / TAX on it when paying at the checkout.

I also need to fix the order form that is shown to the customer as this also is missing the PayPal Fee VAT / Tax

Same with the Admin order in the backend as well. The email sent to the customer is also missing the same value.

I'd be really greatful if someone could help me out or give me a few tips and I'll try fix it myself. I've had a attempt but failed so far.

I found that shipping and VAT gets messed up when you have country states being used.

In your case the use of EN will cause the shipping to exclude VAT

If you remove the STATES from the UK (delete all entries for the UK) and the customer record

You should find VAT gets added correctly for shipping.
