How to skip checkout process and go directly to PayPal?

I don't need checkout process. What I need is when 'Add to Cart' button is clicked a user would be redirected directly to PayPal website.

How could I acomplish that? Is it possible easily or this requires a lot of coding/modifications?

I need the exact same thing, unfortunately it is not a feature that Virtuemart offers currently.  It will require a lot of code modification to the checkout process so until someone does that, Virtuemart doesn't have the function to go straight to PayPal without confirming the order first.  This is to give paypal an order to process.

Obviously people can review their order on PayPal as well so it doesn't make much sense not to include this but oh well... cheers to the one to codes it

I'm trying to use AEC from valanx to do that step, its with subscriptions instead of products but it does do that effect.

Well then how about changing the link to say "Click here to confirm order and pay using PayPal." That would be more descriptive and alleviate confusion. I can't find that link text anywhere. I check all the files in the ENG directory. Anybody know where that link is?

there is also another problem.

My PayPal fee is -3.50 percent.
On 21.00 USD, this amount is 0.74

But is shows Paypal(+0.62) !!!!

And THEN when I select next..  I see a fee of 0.74
So it does show he right amount, but it is crazy.

When I finally select next and go to the Paypal site, the amount is changed again !!  But now the total amount is not 21.74, BUT 21.72.

Can somebody please tell me what the hell is going on and why Virtuemart does not give support or updates on the Paypal module ?  It is totally crap.. everybody has he same problems.

I think your issue is different to the original posters. If others have a problem similar to yours, you'd be much better off posting in those threads.

If you think you should get or need support and updates for Paypal then you might be better off with a commercial package.
