MYSQL transaction PS_CHECKOUT

Hi everybody, I'm a newbie here.

I've been using virtuemart for a professionial site for 3 months, now I'm focused on the payment and order part of virtuemart. (ps_checkout)

I want to put an availability item check before doing the order process and isolate all that part in a mysql transaction.


Has anyone already done this thing? Can anyone suggest me a good approach?
