Hi people

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions. I'm adding things still and changing bits and pieces. There are a few things not working.

contains:
- recommend a friend
- newsletter
- dynamic flash gallery
- frontpage slideshow

I need that "something" as well to give it a slight edge, but am not sure what I want  Any suggestions? Need something to wow people

the site is great already!!

on the front page, you don't really see the product scroller & featured products in the 30 secs most people take to decide if they like it though. they are too far down for that, below the left menu, search, show cart etc...
you might unpublish the left menu, get a smaller search thingy & longin (maybe top right. i made a site with all these horizontally at the top, using a template - have a look at www.niw.nl & click member area) & move the cart down... you need to get them to fill it first!

the category page takes ages to load.
how about putting the luckyzoom, rating & add to cart on a separate product page & use the width (and speed) you get that way to show something cool in a 2nd colum on the category page?
would be really cool if you could get a vid of a kite going up...

I've made a few changes:

as suggested:
- have moved the search to the top
- have shifter the product scoller up higher (much more visible)

Have also:
- taken the frontpage slideshow off every page apart from the front page. Means pages load quicker and the content is seen quicker.

I dont really understand what you mean about putting the lucky zoom etc on a sep product page. Do you mean literally have the thumb images on one page, then click to a second page?
What would you put in the second colum then?
