Payment method in Email

I would like to add the Payment method in the email ..... This is not hard but I neeed to know the var ..... can somebody please help?

I have been searching the forums and found this post which reflects what I am after but has no response.  Is there anyway the Payment Method can be added to the confirmation email to the purchaser.  Any assistance, hints, would be appreciated.
