VirtueMart 4.2.18 11050 on Joomla! 4.4.8 Stable, database driver 10.6.19-MariaDB-cll-lve .
Plugin configured as in docs - I am using it for YEARS!
When I add a downloadable doc to a product, on save I am getting this error:
An error has occurred.

How can I fix this?

The query should match the version of MariaDB you are using. If your query worked in previous versions, there may have been changes in the latest version. Check for double commas or invalid characters: The error indicates something like bedrijfseconomisch ontslag,,Array, which could mean there is a double comma (,,) that shouldn't be there, or some other invalid characters. Check that there is no empty field between commas.

Thanks for the tip, I am grateful for the willingness to help.
I know what COULD be the problem, I am developing actively extensions for VirtueMart myself. And not started yesterdays...
My issue is that this is a COMMERCIAL component, my client (who owns the site) has the rightful expectation to have a working code for the money he paid. So, let's be clear - I am HOPING to get a tip how I can fix this WITHOUTH reverse engineer and fix a commercial component. IF this is possible.
Otherwise the risk is that with the next update we will be back to the same situation. And, sincerely, I am not prepared to fork and fix another buggy component - my JED profile and Downloads page are full with these already.
