[SOLVED] After upgrading to VM4 + J4, I can't add products to the cart

Hello,

I'm running tests to upgrade from J 3.10.12 + VM 3.8.8 10472 to VM 4.2.4 10922 + J 4.4.0.
I've encountered some issues, but I'm beginning to see progress.

VM4 + J3 seems to be working fine, but when I upgraded to J4, I couldn't add products to the cart.

After some investigation, I resolved the problem by disabling the plugin "VM Custom - Stockable variants" V. 2.6.22.

Is this plugin current, or is it obsolete?
Is this a flaw in the VM update?

This is a VM installation that's been around for 10 years, originating from J2 + VM2, so it has gone through numerous updates.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

That's a third-party plugin by Breakdesigns, maybe it needs an update?  See  https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/stockable-custom-fields-for-virtuemart/

The name of the plugin is similar, but in this case it is a virtuemart plugin.

Plugin date 2015?  The version you have is old, it was in VM2 but removed from VM3 onwards. You can delete it!
