notification emails stopped coming to vendor since update to VM 4.0.4

Hi,

I got this report from multiple clients already that after I updated VM to 4.0.4, they stopped receiving emails about new orders.
I checked that and noticed that the status of such orders gets into Pending status despite the fact that payment is using different status.

Downgrading to 3.8.8 is problematic, because AIO never gets updated too. And some J3 templates have problems with modules of VM4 - it crashes the site, so I have to replace the modules by something else.

Please, do you have any fix for it?

VM4.0.4 is really old now in terms of dev...

maybe first try on a clone the latest dev version from the chat...

Almost the release. I just found some optimisations and added something for the j4 mysql strict mode. Admin template got also updated.

I confirm, that this one works fine with latest Joomla 3. Did you test it with J4?
