Administration Filter search product doesn't work

The product search filter suddenly stopped working, I can no longer search for products within the administration, any idea why it stopped working?

Or am I supposed to be a wizard and still guess what kind of car you have?

Not exactly, different version, mine is VirtueMart 4.0.6, everything is updated to the latest version.

Sorry, I didn't notice the new ticket creation notification.

VM version: 4.0.6
PHP version: 8.0 (Tested with 7.4 aswell)
Joomla: 3.10.10.

Admin product filters are working OK in my test version of  VM 4.0.7 10693 so should be fine in the next public release.

VM version: 4.0.7.10731
PHP version: 8.0 (Tested with 7.4 aswell)
Joomla: 3.10.11

Also with the update to 4.0.7. it is not working.

Somebody have another solution?

Again tested, this time on VM 4.0.7 10732 and filter search is working fine for me.

I assume you are using the new admin template?

We had a problem with the search if you used special chars like äöü. But that is fixed since vm4.0.7. 1071x or so.

Hi guys,

My admin filters are also not working on the products page.

VirtueMart 3.8.9 10473, Joomla 3.10.11, PHP Version 7.4.33, Demo Url: https://www.safari2x.cornerstonemedia.co.za/


If I try any filter or the pagination in the admin area the page product list empties and I have to log out and in the get them back.

My client can't continue with their updates.

An update at my end.

I have upgraded VM now to VirtueMart 4.0.7 10699 (along with admin (vmadmin.zip)) (Still on Joomla 3.10.11)

Plus updated the template to the latest version.

Good news...

The front-end all seems fine and the back-end filtration and pagination is working well.

I hope and pray nothing else broke with the upgrade to VM.

Ok, so the update to VM to 4.0.7 has broken my Child Products.

If you go to https://www.safari2x.cornerstonemedia.co.za/shop (the category view) and click on an alternative colour for a product with children e.g. 'NOWA TECH DECKING PLANK - RIVERENE', a modal box pops up stating 'Error Updating Page' and nothing changes (as it used to, title and image changed).

Also if you go to the actual product page: https://www.safari2x.cornerstonemedia.co.za/shop/nowa-tech-decking-plank-150x25x4000mm-riverene-detail

and click on an alternative colour, the URL changes but the image, title and description don't.


Nightmare - so what now?

Any ideas?

Please help before the client roasts me.

I am sorry that I did not see your request. But you started with another topic, which was solved. In this case it is better to open a new topic.

I cannot reach your store :-( Maybe it is too far away, I had that with shops from south africa, that sometimes the routing had too many "hops".

I just can say that no one had this problem before. What says the console of your browser? Sounds like a javascript error
