I didn't do live site tests, errors appeared being live otherwise I wouldn't have noticed them
Let me give you ex:
1. I have 19 and 9% VAT, in the backend after I change an order (I add or remove a product) - my shipping fee changes the base price and in no way can I change it to would be correct. It seems to charge me 9% VAT, which must be 19% (tax shipment)
Which tax mode do you use for shipment? Mixed rate? Highest rate, or fixed rate. But you are right it should not change. But if you change the order, it will always change for the mixed mode and it can change for the "highest rate" mode. But it should not change for the fixed rate. Maybe you should just set the fixed rate (in the shipment!)

I would say that is the reason, yes. But anyway I would not consider it as error if you have to set it manually always.

I do not really understand. But I think the main reason is, that order editing is a quite new feature. and usually it is used as exception. if something went wrong.
